LIBRARY REGULATIONS
- All students and personnel of Terakki Foundation Schools are members of the library.
- The latest issue of reference materials (encyclopedias, dictionaries, annuals etc.), special collections (Ataturk’s albums, valuable art books) and periodicals are for library use only.
- Reference materials may be photocopied.
- Administrators, teachers and personnel are allowed to borrow a maximum of 5 books per month.
- Students are responsible for returning library resources on time.
- Books may be renewed for 15 days as long as it is not requested by another user.
- Students are responsible for returning books without any damage.
- If the book cannot be found, a new book which has equivalent value to the previous book will be determined by the librarians and shall be provided by the user.
- If a book which is required by user is not in the library at that time (if it is lent), user can reserve the book. Hold can be placed by users via library OPAC.
- When a reserved book is returned to library, the user who asks for this book will be informed via e-mail.
- Parents may borrow materials for enrolled students.
- Students may borrow books during the semester break, summer break and intersessions.
- Mail reminders are sent automatically by the library program to all users (students' parents) 3 days before the due date of publication.
- Automatic alert e-mail is sent to all users (students' parents) by the library program when the publication is late five days after the due date, 12 days, and 19 days later.
- 3 resources may be lent to high school and middle school students for 15 days.
- 2 resources may be lent to primary school students for 15 days.
- Computers are open to all users and are to be used for homework and research purposes.
- Library staff may supervise students for proper use of computers.
- For group work, appointment must be taken from the library.
